What is “Bore Draw” ?

Many Bookmakers run a promotion called “Bore Draw” where you will get your stake returned or some kind of incentive if the match finishes 0-0.

Bet365 is the best example of this offer as it has the biggest incentive in that we have no restrictions on the stake amount or return. The “Bore Draw” offer should be used in the same way as any other normal matched bets in that you will place a “Back” bet and also a “Lay” bet to cover all available outcomes.

There are two markets you can use to do the “Bore Draw” offer and they are “Correct Score & Halftime/Fulltime. Once you have placed a “Back” and “Lay” bet on either of those selected markets just sit back and hope for a “Bore Draw”

As mentioned above there is no maximum stake for this offer or limit to the refund you can receive but I would be wary about changing your normal staking plan just for this offer, so if you normally place bets of £20 at Bet365 maybe stick around that same amount.

How to find a “Bore Draw” Bet

The wonderful thing about Oddsmonkey is that they have software for pretty much any matched betting opportunity and this one is no different. Open up the oddsmatcher,

Click Filter > Sport = Football – Market = Correct Score & Halftime/Fulltime – Bookmaker > Bet365 > Apply Filter.

We have already mentioned that we can only use the Correct Score and Halftime/Fulltime markets for this offer.

There is 1 selection on each of those markets that we should avoid. This is because you only get your stake refunded if your bet loses, so if you bet on either of these, they would win if the game ended in a Bore Draw.

Correct Score Market – Avoid 0-0

Halftime/Fulltime – Avoid -Draw-Draw

“Bore Draws” don’t come in very often but when they do they can be very lucrative so it is important that you try and keep the qualifying losses down when doing this offer. Many matched bettors do this by only selecting matched bets with a 98% match on the oddsmatcher.

How to place a “Bore Draw” Bet

Usually the bookmaker will specify whether there is a specific match or specific markets that qualify for the offer.

Use the Calculator in NORMAL Mode

Place a BACK bet on a football match with a Bet365.

LAY the opposing view by placing a LAY bet on the same market at Betting Exchange

If the game finished 0 – 0

Should it trigger you will receive a refund in the form of cash or a free bet

If your refund is as cash, simply withdraw.

If you receive a free bet,

Find a Matched Bet using the Oddsmatcher

Use Calculator in SNR Mode

Place the Back Bet at Bet365

Place the Lay Bet at The Betting Exchange

If The game didn’t finish 0 – 0

Should the match NOT finish 0-0 then your back and lay bets will have cancelled each other out and you will be left with your Qualifying Bet loss. Try to keep losses as minimal as possible, suggest no more than £2 -£3 per £50 staked.
